How To Install Java In Ubuntu

You can install Java in Ubuntu by running the following commands or using the Ubuntu Software Center.

sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre
sudo apt-get install icedtea6-plugin

Or in Ubuntu Software Center you can simply do a search for “Open JDK” or “Java”. Just install java and don’t forget to add the plugin for Firefox/Chrome. Enjoy =)
