Move Window Buttons Back To Right Side
If you are like me, then you can’t stand having the window buttons on the wrong side in Ubuntu 11.04 and up. To change the window buttons to the right side its actually a lot easier than you would have thought. Just follow these instructions and your buttons will be where they belong in a matter of minutes.
Run the following command in terminal.
Now in gconf-editor navigate to “apps/metacity/general“. Inside the general folder there should be a key called “button_layout” simply change the value to this to the following. You can also change the order of the buttons if you like.
menu:minimize,maximize,close
Thats it, you can now close gconf-editor and your buttons will be fixed.

He still has the gleam of a villain in his eyes, but he has enough power and gravitas in his performance, especially when we can easily compare him to the original and legendary Spock (credited as “Spock Prime” in the end credits), that it is obvious he was born to fill the shoes.
